Dulzura Ruiz Fuentes

BIOGRAPHY

A passionate criminal lawyer, Dulzura has practiced in both the public and private sectors for over 14 years. She was a public defender in Chihuahua, where she handled a variety of criminal cases, including juvenile justice cases. She also worked in the Seventh Criminal Court and the Specialized Court for Juvenile Offenders, and later joined the Eleventh District Court of the Federal Judiciary. Previously, she worked in private law firms in Guadalajara specializing in criminal law.

She holds a law degree from Universidad Panamericana and two master's degrees (Criminal Law and Constitutional Law), in addition to certifications, diplomas, and specializations in criminal law and the adversarial system from institutions in Spain, the United States, Colombia, Costa Rica, Chile, and Mexico. She is currently completing her doctorate in criminal law and an additional master's degree in evidentiary reasoning at the University of Girona, Spain.

With extensive knowledge of the adversarial model, she has mentored oral litigation teams at universities and served as a judge in inter-university competitions sponsored by the American Bar Association, among other institutions. She has also been a tenured professor in courses on human rights, criminal law, and litigation.

In 2020, she settled in Guadalajara and co-founded González-Villalobos & Ruiz, Asesores, as managing partner. She is a member of the Mexican Bar Association; she is fluent in English and French, and maintains a disciplined sports routine, in addition to her passion for music.

Guillermo Díaz Pulido

BIOGRAPHY

Guillermo Antonio Díaz Pulido is originally from Guadalajara, Jalisco. From a young age, he showed an interest in criminal law, which led him to study law. He is currently a student at the Pan-American University, Guadalajara Campus. Guillermo has focused his studies on economic criminal law, seeking to specialize in litigation of property, tax, securities, banking, financial, bankruptcy, and intellectual property crimes.

In 2022, he joined the firm of González-Villalobos y Ruiz, Asesores, as a Legal Assistant, assisting in the strategic analysis of cases and the development of case theories. Guillermo is fluent in English and a passionate sports fan.
